The Partners For Productivity Foundation (PFPF) was formed in January of 1998 and went operational in 2001 to respond to the growing poverty and conservation challenges facing the South West Region of Cameroon. Based in Bangem, Kupe-Muanenguba Division, PFPF was created by the ministry of territorial administration (Internal affairs, via prefect oral order No 006/L/G.42/162/A1) and has a status equivalent to section 501© (3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code.
PFPF envisions societies and communities where not only are the basic needs of people met, but that they have meaningful employment, and live amongst ecologically healthy environments. We see at the center of these communities thriving farm families who are producing high quality, environmentally sustainable food which feeds the community and also provides them with a good quality of life. And within these families, youth are encouraged, educated, and empowered, and women are respected and valued members of their community.
Today, PFPF works with rural communities to collaboratively envision and implement sustainable, innovative solu¬tions to problems identified by Southwest Region community members. Their mission is to facilitate positive change in South West Region of Cameroon by connecting local people to knowledge, experiences and resources to

Our main methods for empowering women and youth are
o Building their technical capacity
o Giving them a voice in their community
o Revealing resources that are available to them such as microfinance
